Soon, that is. I just took my Amateur Radio License exam on Saturday, and passed my Technician test easily. Since I could take the General exam without pay more, I sat down for it, and failed it by a single question. But, I'm a Ham, and soon I'll have my callsign to prove it.

I bought a radio, a Kenwood TH-F6A, which several of my buddies have, and it's a pretty nice radio, especially after a few small modifications to it unlock it's hidden power.

Update: Ugh, I just heard from GigaParts, the place I bought my radio from that they were out of Radios (which I knew), and they don't expect more until November 4th. It's a good thing they're the best price by some margin...
