Mad, Beautiful Ideas
Firefox 3 Download Available Today!

Today marks the Official Release of Firefox 3.0, the next generation Firefox browser. As a Linux user, and web developer, Firefox has been my platform of choice for years, particularly after the discovery of such excellent extensions as FireBug.

Firefox 3 sports many new features, including cross-site XMLHttpRequests, a faster JavaScript interpreter, a bookmarks/history search interface, better memory management, and a lot more. Having been using the Beta’s at home for the last few months, I certainly appreciate the improved memory usage, and the stability has been pretty solid for me in RC3.

The downloads go live at 10 am Pacific Time, so head on over to the Download Page, and help the Mozilla Foundation set a world record for downloads.
